We enjoyed a great ice cream here
Next stop was Ellis Island through which millions of immigrants to USA were processed until 1924.

  1. What a huge lunch. The ferry looks overcrowded. How busy it must be there.

    1. Andrew, all meals here are huge and every ferry to the Statue came in fully loaded.

  2. Good to see they have painted the Brooklyn Bridge - was a rust bucket when I walked accross in 2011. And the same buskers at the end of it. The Yanks do eat big - we found one meal could be shared between the two of us most times.

    1. Allan, the buskers did say they have been performing there a long time and I agree entirely about the food quantities.
