Two blocks of tracks for Sydney's new CBD and South-Eastern line under construction have been revealed on George Street between Park and King Streets.

Postscript:
I've just noticed the FREE WIFI sign which appears neatly to be on the window of the Surrey Hotel. I suspect someone has stuck that on the hoarding photo as a joke.
I wonder if people generally can imagine the impact of this tram line when it opens? It will bring about huge changes in the way people move around the city, most welcome and I expect some unwelcome.
ReplyDeleteThe free wifi sign is not the only odd thing in that photo.
DeleteIndeed Andrew. Now I've noticed the automobile following the tram up the hill. How peculiar!
DeleteI have to say it must be wonderful to have a tram system...Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteIt used to be wonderful Dora until Governments of the day totally dismantled Sydney's tram system in the late 1950s, early 1960s.
