Vatican Museum

Back to our visit to Rome last year and in this post are photos from our visit to the Vatican Museums. The main interest within the Museums is the Sistine Chapel. Photography is not permitted in the Chapel. These photos are from the various points in the vast corridors and salons of the Museum.

If I had taken notes I could possibly have provided captions and commentary to explain the photographs. However, the crowds passing through the Museums is huge and it would be like trying to turn back the tide to stop and attempt to both get a good view of the items and record their titles or explanatory descriptions.

So, here are photos, without explanation.
