Life was beautiful then*

(*'Memory' from 'Cats' by Trevor Nunn, Andrew Lloyd Webber & T S Eliot)

I ran into my 4th Class (Primary School) teacher at the hospital today. He taught me in 1958; a mere fifty-five years ago. I recognised him immediately and he knew who I was once reminded of my name. Amazing!

Here is our class photo:

  1. Although your teacher looks older than he is in the photo, he was probably only in his early 30's?
    What do you think Victor?

  2. Hats off to your teacher...I have a hard time recognising students 10 minutes after chatting to them. Btw, scanning through the photo, are you the one standing next to the teacher (left, in the photo) ?

  3. Ad Rad was brave to have a guess. I was just going to ask.

  4. What good memories you both have. I have a hard time remembering last week (which doesn't bode well for my later years)!
For some reason I'm placing you front row towards the right.
