Victor, have you seen the Wong Kar-Wai film "Happy Together" in which these falls feature quite prominently? It is set mostly in Buenos Aires at the time when Hong Kong was being handed back to PRC (ie, 1997). There's lots of tango. The title is ironic insofaras the couple at the centre of the drama are an anything-but happy together pair of men from Hong Kong whose relationship has reached a bit of a dead end. A young Taiwanese traveller is the (unwitting, from memory) third wheel.
I should warn you that some people think the film excruciatingly slow.
