Old Year's meme

Thanks to Telstra (grrr) I can now blog again and although it is 2 January as I key this post I am backdating it to 1 January as the start of a New Year's tradition (should I remember to continue this next year). Not an original idea but I rather like the practice of other bloggers who commence their new year's blogging by recalling the first sentences each month of their previous year's blogging.

Here is mine. Amateur psychologists can keep their thoughts to themselves.  :)

January - Tonights fireworks over Sydney Harbour; the best I can do with my digital camera.

February - I enjoyed the BBC comedy series 'The Thick of It' in which a foul mouthed British Prime Ministerial senior staffer terrorises hapless Ministers and their staff for their political ineptness.

March - I am not an animal person.

April - I did not sleep for a single second last night.

May - Steve Carell and Tina Fey enliven their marriage with a weekly 'Date Night', dinner at the same local restaurant each time.

June - For days now a certain 'shock jock' - appointed 'Ambassador' for the current lights display in Sydney - has been urging Sydneysiders to take a look at the lights display which is a part of Vivid Sydney, promoted as a festival for light, music and ideas.

July - 'Goldfinger' is screening on television tonight.

August - Continuing the reflection theme.

September - I lived in Canberra between 1982 and 1987.

October - We ventured into Muzbot territory today visiting Manly.

November - No text, just photographs of good looking men.

December - No text, just a World AIDS Day banner.
