Andrew recently made mention of the new lighting of Flinders Street Station in Melbourne and I had the chance to see it myself last weekend. It is indeed an impressive sight.
Rather lovely photos Victor. I will link to them in the future. It is rather how I imagined the government building in Victoria BC might be illuminated, instead of being lit like an old Luna Park amusement park ride.
It's amazing what a difference the lighting has made. I was catching the tram back to the apartment the other night and I noticed the bulbs on the street lamps also appear brighter.

ReplyDeleteAd Rad, I am not sure of the details but City of Melbourne seems to replacing old orange lighting and similar with bright white LED lighting.
