Piazza Navona

The Piazza Navona was one block to the east of our apartment in Rome.

We began our first full day in Rome wandering through the Piazza. The weather was cool and sunny but at that time of day not many tourists took advantage of the numerous cafes lining the Piazza. When we returned to the Piazza later that day and on subsequent days those cafes were packed with diners and drinkers.
