Campo Dei Fiore (Rome, Italy)

We took possession of a five bedrooms apartment for our week's long stay in Rome in the district of Campo Dei Fiori. The apartment block was within 100 metres of a thriving marketplace to the east and the beautiful Piazza Navona a similar distance to the west.

After dumping our bags in the apartment in the early afternoon the five of us enjoyed sharing three pizzas in a cafe located literally on the doorsteps of our apartment building. We were famished after having risen at 4am for our morning flight out of Palermo. Then we went for a wander through the market and the lanes leading into it.

  1. Beautiful! I haven't been to Rome in decades and I'm looking forward to more of your photos. :)
