Every so often someone in an online group I am a member of complains about the change at Bondi Junction to a bus to get to Bondi Beach. I know the argument that the locals put forth, that is it would encourage even more people and undesirables to travel to Bondi, but I also think of how awful the bus trip must be for locals when the buses are packed with tourists. Any thoughts? Ah, you have a vested interest. You don't travel by train to BJ and so probably would not the line extended. You would want less people.
Actually I travelled between Bondi Junction and Edgecliff by train just today and I am completely in favour of the train extending to Bondi Beach and beyond as an option for reducing the number of cars on the Eastern Suburbs roads.
