It doesn't always make for good conversation at the dinner table. And when I'm at a wedding, it never fails that questions are posed such as, "Are you married?" And the last two weddings were for colleagues, and not family members, so it makes it that much more uncomfortable. Whereas, if you're at a family wedding, it is almost "understood" so the question is never asked. So what I usually tend to do (if I go) is spend too much time on the dance floor. Plus a colleague's wedding means you may only know the colleague at the wedding, whereas a wedding within the family means there's plenty of relatives to mingle and talk with easily. Make a great time of the wedding by being the "dancer with all the moves." ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003118750661133842.post-31841300807305091442009-01-01T19:20:00.000+11:002009-01-01T19:20:00.000+11:00wcs - I assume there must be other unattached invi...wcs - I assume there must be other unattached invitees but the likely guests with whom I am familiar and almost certainly be seated with at the reception are all straight couples.Victorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14778094395442538035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003118750661133842.post-33835759767572893912009-01-01T19:13:00.000+11:002009-01-01T19:13:00.000+11:00Will you be the only single person there?
